Tuesday evening April 12 at 10:06pm Kent Center dispatched Station 45, Ladder, Engine & Rescue 44, Engine 51 for the RIT, Ambulance 64 and KM6 for a reported structure fire at 264 Gravelly Run Branch Rd. in the Providence Crossing Development.  Responding units were advised that the caller was reporting the garage on fire.  Command 45 w/ Captain John Pridemore arrived just ahead if the first engine and established command.  Engine 45-3 w/6, Deputy Chief Alex Carrow arrived and established a water supply and stretched an attack line.  Crews found smoke showing with an active fire in the garage.  Ladder 44 w/Captain Eric Neeld arrived behind the engine and its crew assisted throwing ground ladders and laddered the structure. Engine 44 w/Assist Chief Dave Neeld and Quint 45 w/6, Firefighter Joe Jones arrived together, the ladder crew assisted with ladders and began primary searches, the engine crew stood by the secondary water source and began checking the residence for extension.  Engine 45-4 w/6 Assistant Chief Ray Johnson arrived secured the water supply to 45-3 and stretched the second line.  Rescue 45 w/6, Lt. Jonathan Burnett and Rescue 44 w/ Lt. Robbie Daniels arrived together with Rescue 45 handling the secondary searches while Rescue 44 checked the basement.  Engine 51-3 w/ Assistant Chief Ray Morris arrived and established the RIT.  EMS units staged on Christiana River Dr.  The fire was quickly contained and all searches were negative.  Command scaled the response to Station 45 & 44 units.  The Delaware State Fire Marshals Office is investigating, Clayton had 42 members respond.
